TakeUp, an AI-powered revenue optimization platform for independent hotels, is now available on Oracle Cloud Marketplace, according to a Press Release published by the company (June 12, 2025). The platform can be deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and integrates with Oracle’s OPERA Cloud via the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP).

SummaryTakeUp combines AI-driven learning models with expert human guidance to help independent hotels optimize room rates in real-time. The goal: reduce manual workload and enable revenue managers to focus on strategy rather than spreadsheets.

With the addition of TakeUp to the Oracle Cloud Marketplace, hotels can now easily integrate this AI-powered pricing engine with their existing Oracle-based property management systems.

"Making TakeUp available on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace is a game-changer for independent properties looking to level up their revenue strategy beyond traditional yield management," said TakeUp CEO Bobby Marhamat, adding that the integration will help the company leverage Oracle’s cloud infrastructure to accelerate its business goals.

Key Features:

  • Near Real-Time Price Sensitivity AnalysisUnderstand guest responsiveness to pricing changes and fine-tune rates accordingly.

  • Continuous Feedback Loop for Strategy OptimizationTracks pricing decisions and outcomes to refine future strategies and drive profitability.

  • Intelligent AutomationRuns real-time simulations and dynamically adjusts rates to match shifting market conditions — reducing manual guesswork.

Background on TakeUp:Founded to serve the unique needs of independent hotels, TakeUp delivers dynamic pricing solutions that adapt to real-time market conditions. Its AI-powered platform integrates with leading property management systems, helping hoteliers maximize revenue while simplifying operations.

TheMarketAI.com Take:These applications seem to be one of the lowest hanging fruits for AI tools — the ability for smaller businesses to employ much more advanced pricing techniques that used to be feasible only for industry giants. This is definitely a job for AI.

The jury is still out on whether AI will level the playing field and allow smaller businesses to better compete, or create mega consolidations as huge corporations can now learn to manage more efficiently even in granular business units. Historically, small businesses won over bloated high-cap companies because their owners worked harder and cared more than the bureaucracies of large corporations. Whether AI preserves this dynamic or reverses it remains to be seen.
